mold is a serious health risk no one should have to
live with. So how can you tell if the mold growing in
your home is the harmless or toxic type? Don't expect much help from the San Diego
Department of Public Health. Before our investigation,
they didn't even provide printed material on mold
problems. We convinced them to create a pamphlet
designed to provide some basic information on toxic
mold, and what you can't do about it. They've posted

here: Mold Information. But what if you rent your home? NEWS 8 renters told
us cries to landlords often fall on deaf ears. If you're a
renter with a mold problem, there are several things
you can do. First, make your landlord aware of the
problem, and ask him to fix it.
If the landlord doesn't take action, file a
complaint with your city's building inspection
office.
And if the problem persists, consider moving.
Mold can create a serious health problem. You
don't want to stay in a situation that might
